夏休みが明け、Tokyo Indieも活動開始三年目に突入! 9月21日、Scissor Sistersを迎え、音楽ありエンターテイメントあり、大盛り上がり間違いなしのスペシャルイベントが繰り広げられる。今回一緒にDJブースに立つのは同バンドのリード・シンガーJake ShearsとScissor Sisters のオフィシャル・ツアーDJのSammy Joだ。12年前、SammyがDJをしていたニューヨークのゲイ・ナイトClick and DragにJakeがゴーゴー・ダンサーとして参加したことが二人の出会いのきっかけだ。彼らはパーティー・アニマルとして知られているだけに、印象に残る夜を演出してくれるだろう。Scissor Sistersの言葉を借りて、"Let's have a kiki"!!!!
Tokyo Indie is refreshed from its summer break and diving headlong into its 3rd anniversary celebrations! On September 21st we will be hosting a very special night of musical entertainment and high jinx with the Scissor Sisters. Joining us behind the decks will be the inimitable Jake Shears,lead singer with the band, and official Scissor Sisters tour DJ, Sammy Jo. These two guys met 12 years ago at the infamous New York gay night Click and Drag, where Jake was a go-go dancer and Sammy the resident DJ. With reputations as party animals in the extremest sense of the word, this is going to be a night that lives long in the memory. In the words of the Scissor Sisters themselves, "Let's have a kiki"!!!!
